Mortise Cylinder Locks 

Used to reduce the number of cylinders from two to one in an older mortise lock. The use of double-cylinder locks on residential properties is sometimes prohibited by local ordinances, so this may be required. Length is measured from the center of the cam to the center of the head. If the cylinder isn't the right length, the lock won't work. Our line's variety of models and parts gives you the freedom to meet the needs of a wide range of industries. The bar material used to make these knobs is pure brass. Most effectively, these can be used to gain entry to a locked room or cabinet without the need for a key. The 1” size of the turn knob is somewhat small, but due to its quality, it is big enough to be efficient.
