Heavy duty mortise lock-set made for a wood hinged Atrium patio door. Fits doors from 1-3/8" to 1-7/8" thick. Forged solid brass with polished brass finish; lock chassis is high pressure cast; latch face, mortise cylinder, escutcheons, and levers are all of solid brass.

Handles and latch bolt are reversible. Key operated from outside for entry and inside thumb turn for locking and unlocking.
1-3/4" narrow stile backset. Face plates measure 1-3/16" x 8-1/4". 4-1/2" lever handles.
Spindle and installation screws are included with this set.

Out of alignment

When the set screw that holds the deadbolt securely in place is tightened it shifts the deadbolt slightly out of position which makes locking and unlocking it difficult. It catches so much that it will bend the key if you’re not paying attention.

Original lock lasted 15+ years, replacement lasted 18 months.

The original lock broke after 15 years, the knob spun but wouldn't lock the deadbolt. Replaced with the Countryside Aug 2022. Fast forward to March 2024 -- the knob spins, but the deadbolt won't retract. I had to drill the wood behind the escutcheon and pick the lock. Ordered another lock from Countryside -- hopefully this one lasts longer.
