Papaiz Mortise Lock Storm Door Lock Fits Papaiz 322 323

I like the Papaiz Lock. This is the second one I have purchased for this door in the last 35 years. I would have given a higher rating but delivery went well past the advertised arrival, causing me to call Countryside as to the delay. Only then was I informed that the lock (single-lock) was on back order for a month or so, but that I could substitute it with a double-lock and have it delivered in 2 days.
That would have been great news to have heard weeks before. Countryside should reach out to the consumer not the other way around when there is a delay.

The lock I originally wanted wasn't in stock so they contacted me directly to negotiate a replacement. Shipped quickly and arrived intact. A+

The lock body fit fine but the trim screws were not correct for normal replacement application. Also strike plate was to thin to use. Luckily I was able to use the old one. I had to fit the old screws to the new trim. The sheet metal screws that came with it wouldn't work. I was able to make everything work and the customer was happy with the result. Great customer service. Arrived quickly. I replaced a very old Papaiz lockset that had the number 323 engraved on it. My storm door is 1 5/8" thick, and though the ad read, "Fits doors from 1 to 1-3/8 inches thick", this newer #323 model fit perfectly. I especially like the wing knob on the cylinder. My old one was round and became difficult to turn as the cylinder aged. This was very easy for an elderly female to install. No need to hire anyone to do it for you if you know how to handle a screwdriver and have a little common sense.

What a wonderful surprise, speedy service, excellent fit. Affordable cost. Everything one could ask for in replacement door parts and fittings.
