Rim Lock Cylinder Guard Plate Center Rise Brass

I didn't care that the hole was off-centered and the plate qas ugly to look at, because I bought it only because I needed the screws (and would have returned it otherwise), but I take great issue with the proprietor insisting that he'd sold "100,000" of them - an obvious lie - and that there was nothing wrong with it. By the way, the proprietor told me that the screws are 3-4 inches ling when, in fact they'r about 2 1/4 inches long, so caveat emptor.
