Real brass parts but with a slightly brushed finish that wasn't super apparent in the pictures; could easily be buffed to a more polished look since it's real brass; all of the knobs I received had long vertical rips in the hard plastic packaging which was very strange, and because of that, there were some parts missing, including a couple of the screws used to hold the knobs on the spindle AND one of the spindles. Thankfully I'm using these as replacement knobs only and don't necessarily need the spindles, but beware of missing parts. I emailed customer service immediately after I received my package, and I followed up yesterday which was almost 2 weeks after I received my items and after my original email about the missing parts – still no response from CS. Overall, items are priced low and are decent quality, but if you get unlucky and end up with missing parts, don't expect anyone to help you resolve it.
