Me saying that a locksmith was going to charge him $800.00 to change the lock on his wrought iron door. A new door was $514.00. I’ve asked my Dad to contact me for things that seem out of line. He brought me the old lock and using the name on the back of the lock, with in 7 days he had a brand new replacement lock that works perfectly for $70.00. Thank you

I had a job to do. The measurements were good for most of the part but fall too short. But all the components matched the old part. So nothing went to waste. Thanks for everything.

Mortise lock functions as designed. Quality of manufacture is as good as the locks being replaced. Price is the lowest I could find on the internet, and I bought two. Very good value for the price and I saw no reason that I would spend more for a mortise lock when these are available. These have the modern, "Two screw attachment," for the knobs / handles. Not the, "Threaded Square Shaft," knob attachment. My only issue is that there was no place in the checkout process to request, "Keyed Alike" feature. I had to go and have one of them re-keyed to match the other at an additional cost of $20 including 2 replacement keys. I have NO complaints with the product or it's function, or with Countryside Locks. Delivery Service was fast, delivery cost was reasonable. These came with detailed installation instructions and diagrams, which was nice, as I had to drill for the door handle screws. My old locks did not have, "Screw type", handle attachments. The old set had the vintage threaded square shaft to hold the knobs on. I had to drill the 2 holes to secure the knobs / handles to the lock / door frame.
