Hoppe Multipoint Lock 16MM Manual 45/92 Gear, Tongue At 24.41", 1" D/B, 36" HH

I ordered this piece to fix my Hoppe multipoint door lock that had apparently stripped a gear. The ordering process was pretty straightforward and the price was the lowest I could find online. Product arrived in about 10 working days and was in perfect condition. Installation went well although I did not use the lower latch arm that came with the unit. I used my existing upper and lower latch arms and they fit perfectly with this new lock unit. After some minor adjustments I had the lock installed in about 30 minutes. I have no complaints about this whole process but if I could offer a suggestion it would be to sell the lock head unit alone without the lower latch arm. Less shipping and waste that way. Thanks Countryside!

Hoppe multipoint lock replacement

Countryside had the exact replacement assembly that I needed to fix my multipoint lock. It took less than 25 minutes to remove the old assembly and install the new one. Saved me about $500 vs having a locksmith do it. Take your time, do your research, understand the terminology and the required measurements, and get ‘er done.

Exact fit, no issues but a little info would help

This lock was an exact replacement for the lock in my Peachtree door - Peachtree having gone out of business. It was a simple job to replace the old lock. The only issue I had was that the latch bolt came in the opposite direction from my old lock. There was no instruction on how to turn that bolt around and I nearly tried something stupid. With some searching I found a very simple fix, but a one-page note in the box would have saved me a lot of time.

Locks are fine but very expensive to replace. Even locksmiths don't know much about them. Before it was over cost almost $600 to basically fix a stopped gear.
